Already this year, the Bridgerton actress has tried naked dressing, going braless beneath a bejewelled chainmail-esque party top. She followed it up with a pink sparkle mini dress that nailed Barbiecore. Simone attended The Little Mermaid LA premiere in May wearing a unique lingerie dress that tapped into the underwear-as-outerwear look, before stepping out in a neon Versace mini dress just weeks later.

More recently, she gave preppy queen Blair Waldorf a run for her money in a green tweed mini and gave a subtle nod to mermaidcore in a scallop trim bikini top.

And now she's turned her attention to Y2K in the perfect summer 'fit.

In her latest Instagram post captioned, "Happiest in the ☀️ 🌞", Simone can be seen wearing a low-rise leopard print mini skirt paired with a turquoise handkerchief hem top. Separately, both pieces nail the Y2K aesthetic with low waists, short hemlines, crop tops, spaghetti straps and handkerchief hems all big identifiers of '00s nostalgia.

But together, it is the perfect summer combo delivering max Y2K vibes. We reckon we saw a version of this 'fit in a Topshop store window back in 2005. Ahh the good old days...

Simone shared a similar post a few months ago that also referenced her love for warm weather as she captioned the photos of herself with three sunshine emojis. Ever the trendsetter, she was wearing a black crochet midi dress (hello '70s fashion revival) with a cut-out across her lower back.

Talk about a summer wardrobe to die for. We can't wait to see what she wears next.
